The Savannah Tribune is pleased to introduce our Youth Editor, Lauren C. James. As Youth Editor, one of her goals is to publish a series of columns that highlight real-life issues and concerns from the perspective of an adolescent. She also looks forward to a role as a reporter who can cover and report on various events that will be of interest to youth.
Lauren is a freshman at The Westminister Schools, Atlanta, GA, where she is president of the Freshman class, an actor, and a lacrosse player. She is a diehard Falcons fan who enjoys traveling, cooking and music. Lauren is the daughter of Robert E. James, II, and Angela Payne James and her grandparents are Robert E. James and Savannah Tribune Publisher, Shirley B. James, Rosalyn Payne-Hill (Ed) and Hal Payne.
