On Friday, April 27, 2018 from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM, Xcel Mentoring Network will host the Ninth Annual “Once Upon A Time” Joy Prom at Alee Temple, 100 Eisenberg Drive.

For the past nine years, Xcel Strategies, a mentoring network in Savannah serving at-risk young men, has been hosting the Joy Prom for over 500 friends in the community with different abilities. The Joy Prom attendees include participants from EmployAbility, Lowcountry Down Syndrome Society, AMBUCS of Savannah and Abilities Unlimited. The goal for the Joy Prom is to serve this demographic of our community by throwing a party that would give joy away to those participating and has a lasting impact on our city. Our prom participants will be treated to an evening in the spotlight where they will receive prom flowers, photos, swag bags filled with goodies along with a delicious meal by Chick-fil-a and an energized dance floor by All About You Entertainment.
