WSOK Presents the 7th Annual Gospel Music Awards and Holiday Concert

WSOK announces the complete plans for the 7th Annual Gospel Music Awards and Holiday Concert. The presentation is scheduled for Monday, December 6, 2010 at the Savannah Civic Center’s Johnny Mercer Theater. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the Awards Presentation will begin at 7 p.m.

Tickets are on sale at the Savannah Civic Center Box Office for just $10. Headliners for this year’s awards include James Fortune and FIYA (I Believe), Brian Courtney Wilson (All I Need), Wess Morgan (I Choose to Worship), Issac Carree (Simply Redeemed), E. Larry McDuffie and the Savannah Community Choir, St. John Baptist Church Mass Choir, and St. Paul C.M.E. Church Mass Choir.

Congratulations are in order for all nominees nominated in the following categories: Male Vocalist of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, Male Chorus/Group of the Year, Choir of the Year, Album/CD of the Year, Song of the Year, Organist of the Year and Young Adult Choir of the Year.

This year, the WSOK Community Service Award will be given to Pastor Matthew Southall Brown, Sr. for his work in the community, both civic and religious.
