Voting Open For MEAC Anniversary Golf Team

In celebration of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference’s (MEAC) 50th anniversary, voting for the league’s All-Time Men’s Golf Team, presented by The Home Depot, is now open. Savannah State fans should take advantage of this opportunity to cast their vote in support for Tigers golf history.

Voting is open until June 20, 2021.

To be considered for the ballot, a candidate must have been named to at least one of the following: Selection to the MEAC Championship All-Tournament Team;Selectionas Medalist at the MEAC Golf Championship or the PGA National Minority Championship; Top 5 finish at the PGA National Minority Championship; or Induction into the MEAC Hall of Fame, the Black College Hall of Fame or the PGA National Minority Hall of Fame.

Former Savannah State players on the ballot are Cedomir Ilic, Brandon Neals, Trey Odum and Travis Roe.

Ilic won the 2012 PGA National Minority Championship and Neals made the 2014 MEAC All-Tournament Team. Odom was a member of the SSU team that finished fourth in the 2019 PGA National Minority Championships while Roe earned a spot on the 2014 MEAC All-Tournament Team and shot a all-time low round of 67 in 2014.
