University of Phoenix – Savannah will host an education resource fair for those interested in continuing their education and learning more about how to make it happen on Saturday, May 30 from 1- 4pm.
“Education is empowering and can be the key to success,” said campus director Lisa Nucci. “Whether it’s getting a GED or earning a Ph.D., anyone can go back to school and benefit from continued learning.”
Complementary workshops will be presented by University of Phoenix faculty and staff on the topics of financial aid, scholarships, resume writing, next level career paths and education making the difference.
In addition to University of Phoenix, participating educators will include area universities and technical colleges, armed services Savannah Chatham County Public School System, Columbia College, Walden University, Troy University, Savannah Technical College, Southeastern Technical College, Technical College of the Low Country.
Free workshops for the general public will take place between 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. The resource fair will take place at the Savannah Mall, 14045 Abercorn Street.
In its fourth year, University of Phoenix – Savannah offers undergraduate programs in human services, technology, nursing and health care, business, psychology and criminal justice.
