In the spirit of the holidays, Union Mission will serve 300 free Thanksgiving dinners, donated by Gulfstream Aerospace, to homeless families and individuals. The traditional Thanksgiving dinner will feature sliced turkey, dressing, green beans, fresh collard greens, sweet potato pie, pecan pie and more.
Union Mission officials hope the Thanksgiving meal will help brighten the holidays for those in need.
The event will take place Thursday, November 22, 2012, 2 p.m. at the Union Mission’s Grace House, 120 Fahm Street, Savannah, Georgia.
