Belinda Baptiste, a Haitian who moved to the U.S. in 1978 has a passion for helping people. She moved to Savannah in 2007 and opened Unforgettable Bakery and Cafe. She has been helping people ever since. For the 5th year Unforgettable has provided Thanksgiving dinner. On last Thursday, First African Baptist Church, who has been providing transportation for the last 3 years, brought friends and neighbors in transition to Unforgettable Bakery and Cafe to enjoy a fabulous Thanksgiving meal. The staff and volunteers of Unforgettable Bakery and Cafe prepared collard greens, green beans, red rice, macaroni and cheese, cornbread dressing, turkey, ham, yams, and carrot cake. Thanks to the many friends who donated their time and money to make this event a success.
