Savannah-area organ transplant candidates and recipients are invited to attend the Georgia Transplant Foundation (GTF) Trends in Transplant (TNT) conference at the Memorial University Medical Center in the Hoskins Building at the Mercer Auditorium on Saturday, March 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The TNT conference provides organ transplant candidates, recipients, living donors, and their families with educational information and support as they experience transplantation.
This year’s conference will contain several seminars, including: Everything I Need to Know, I Learned From My Kidney Disease, Melissa Carter; Alphabet Soup of Medication Coverage, Michael Sanders, Bioscrip; Immunosuppresion and Transplant: Challenges and Opportunities in 2012, Thomas C. Pearson, Emory Transplant Center.
