Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc., Savannah Chapter, Wins at 37th Area IV Conference

Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc., Savannah Chapter, is tops in service in Area IV as was recently demonstrated in Miami at the annual Area IV Conference winning the following awards: Lady Annette Mitchell received first place for the “Outstanding Chapter President of the Year Award”, Lady Beverly Copeland placed third as “Top Lady of the Year”, the chapter received first place winning “The Willie Lee Glass Outstanding Program of Work Award” and the chapter was also awarded an Area IV Media Award.

Two of our Ladies won elected offices in Area IV. Lady Belinda Brown won the office of financial secretary, and Lady Deborah Adams won a position on the Area IV Nominating Committee. National 2nd Vice President Lady Eddie Lee Marsh, a member of Savannah Chapter, also travelled with the chapter to Miami.

The Lords of our Top Ladies presented their Friendly Competition Awards. Lord Arthur Howard won second place in the Bid Whist competition.

Two of the Top Teens ran for Area IV officers. Teen Madison Orr was elected Area IV 2nd Vice President, and Teen Kennedy Ingram was elected Area IV Recording Secretary.

Teen DeShawn Carter and Teen Kennedy Ingram represented Savannah Chapter as Mr. and Miss Top Teen at the Presentation Gala.

Many of our Teens and Ladies performed on various programs throughout the conference. Teens Quiana Morris and Darryl Cossey sang, Teens Joshua and Jordan Williams mimed, and Teens Devita Cossey and DeShawn Carter mimed and danced. Lady Patrice White also blessed the audience with a medley of songs at the Unity Breakfast on Sunday morning. Lady Carrie served as Protocol Chair for the entire IV.

Savannah Chapter was represented by forty nine members from the chapter.
