October being Breast Cancer Month, the Savannah Chapter of Top Ladies of Distinction kicked off its activities by worshipping together at Tremont Temple Missionary Baptist Church. The church was celebrating by wearing pink and honoring those breast cancer survivors in attendance. Rev. Quentin Morris, pastor of Tremont Temple, spoke on the subject: “A Fixed Fight” taken from Judges 3:31 encouraging members to use what you have and keep pressing on. Lady Annette Mitchell, President of Savannah Chapter of TLOD, presented the church with a monetary donation from the chapter. Also in attendance were the Top Teens of America and former Top Teens.
On October 28th, the chapter will host its annual All Things Pink Luncheon at Carey Hilliard’s on Abercorn. At the luncheon, breast cancer survivors in Savannah Chapter and other invited survivors in attendance will be recognized. Tickets for the luncheon can be purchased by contacting Annette Mitchell at firstname.lastname@example.org.
