The Tourism Leadership Council hosted its first Connection Luncheon of 2015 on Thursday at the Embassy Suites Savannah Historic District. The featured speaker was Allison Miguel, General Manager of JetBlue at the Savannah Hilton Head International Airport, who spoke about the exciting ways that JetBlue is making Savannah accessible to visitors nationwide.
The luncheon also held a raffle to benefit the TLC Scholarship fund, which invests in the future of the tourism industry by giving scholarships to students who are studying for careers in tourism and hospitality. The raffle prize was two round-trip tickets to anywhere in continental United States that JetBlue serves. The winner was Gail NeSmith of NeSmith Gift Advertising.
