March is National Women’s History Month, a time to celebrate the years of hard work to achieve equity goals in the classroom for females and to ensure American women will be recognized and celebrated in educational institutions, workplaces, and communities throughout the country.
Throughout March, The Savannah Tribune will highlight several of these women. The 2012 Theme is “Women’s Education-Women’s Empowerment” This week we will highlight Cathy Hill, Georgia Power’s Coastal Region Vice President and Rochelle Small-Toney, Savannah City Manager.
