The CME Church to Host Quadrennial Annual Conference

Sixth Episcopal District of the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church will host the Quadrennial Annual Conference. The Quadrennial Annual Conference of the Sixth Episcopal District is comprised of the delegates, ministers, pastors, and members representing over 300 congregations from their four conferences: Central Georgia, Georgia North, South Georgia, and West Georgia. Our Presiding Prelate is Bishop Kenneth W. Carter.

The event will be hosted by Rev. Da’Henri R. Thurmond, Sr. and the St. Paul CME Church and presiding will be Elder Donald R. Jordan, (Fort Valley/ Savannah District)

to the public: On Monday, July 16 at 7pm is the Service of Holy Communion. The speaker will be Rev. Aaron James, Pastor, First Bryan Baptist Church. be the speaker. On Wednesday, July 18 at 7pm the Missionary Service will be held. Rev. Vanessee Burns, Pastor, Carter Tabernacle CME Church, Orlando FL will headline this event.

On Thursday, July 19 at 1:30pm a Live Recording Concert of the Youth Voices of the Sixth, “Christ in ME” will be held.
