The A. Philip Randolph Institute Honors The Legacy of The Late Mr. Chester Dunham

 
 

On Saturday, February 22, 2020, The A. Philip Randolph Institute (APRI), Savannah Chapter, will honor the legacy of the late Mr. Chester Dunham with a “Legacy Award Dinner”. Mr. Dunham was a fixture in Organized Labor, his Community and the Civil Rights Movement for most of his life. He used his passion for activism and his widely recognized voice to host a radio show aimed at educating the masses about issues that impact us all.

The “Legacy Award Dinner” will also honor persons in Savannah’s Labor Movement. The 2020 honorees for the “Chester Dunham Legacy Award” are: Mr. Wesley Crenshaw, Mrs. Virginia Parham and Mr. Willie Seymour. These individuals have given so much to the cause of “Labor”.
