The 17th Annual Telfair Art Fair is Bigger than Ever!

Come hang with us at Savannah’s biggest Telfair Art Fair yet! Join Telfair Museums for the nationally recognized Telfair Art Fair in Telfair Square on Saturday, November 12 from 10 am until 8 pm and Sunday, November 13 from 12 to 4 pm.

The weekend kicks off with the always popular Arty Party, and fun for the whole family continues with the Open Art exhibit and the Family Art Lab inside the Jepson Center, the Children’s Art Fair in the Square, “Telfair at Twilight” Saturday evening entertainment, and a Sunday Brunch in the Square. This year’s art fair is bigger than ever and packed with events sure to please everyone!

For the first time in its 17-year history the Telfair Art Fair is an open-air event, allowing visitors to enjoy all of the fabulous art in Savannah’s delightful fall climate.

This year’s display space has also been expanded to include 50 additional artists in new booth space from Telfair Square, down Barnard Street, reaching Ellis Square.

More than 140 artists are represented displaying works in a variety of media and price points, making this the perfect opportunity for museum members and the community to have direct access to participating artists.

Artists are eligible for judging and will have an opportunity to win one of the prestigious Carolyn Luck Awards, which will be announced at noon on Saturday, including $10,000 in total prizes awarded. The fair will be judged by Angela Mack, who is Executive Director and Chief Curator at the Gibbes Museum of Art in Charleston, South Carolina, where she has installed 350 exhibitions during her tenure. Mack holds a BA degree in art history from Vanderbilt University and has completed post-graduate work at the University of Virginia, Tulane University, and New York University.

The highly anticipated Arty Party, an opening night preview for museum members, starts up the celebration Friday, November 11 from 6 to 9 pm. Attendees will have an exclusive chance to mingle with artists over cocktails before the Art Fair opens to the public on Saturday, complete with the Children’s Art Fair in the Square from 10 am to 2 pm.

The afternoon will be rounded out with live performances and refreshments available throughout the day. Stick around Saturday evening for “Telfair at Twilight,” where everyone is invited to enjoy a night out with friends and visit the artists during a casual event featuring a live performance by

The Train Wrecks. Café Zeum will offer a great selection of fare for purchase. Finish out the weekend with Brunch in the Square on Sunday morning, hosted by Café Zeum, followed by a relaxing afternoon with performances in Telfair Square.
