Tatemville Community Improvement Association Holds Annual Banquet

The Tatemville Community Improvement Association, Inc. held their Annual Banquet. last Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Tatemville Community, Center Mrs. .Willie Mae Knight served as Mistress of Ceremony.

A special presentation on the Amtrak Metro Rail System was made by Mr. Leighton Reed. He wants to bring back the Nancy Hanks which travelled from Savannah to Atlanta and also a high speed rail system to travel throughout Georgia

A presentation was made by The Youth Essay Contest winner Jayla Griffin a 9th grade student at Memorial Day School. The topic was “WHAT CAN I DO TO IMPROVE THE FUTURE GROWTH OF TATEMVILLE”. Rev. James Hudson and grandson Matthew Hudson presented

Jayla with the first place prize and a certificate.

The banquet also included a Men’s Fashion Show with Ms, Mary Mason as M.C.

A delicious meal was served.

Closing remarks were made by Mrs. Mable Hudson, President and Mrs. Barbara Robbins, Banquet Committee President before the closing prayer by Rev. Anthony Scott, Sr.
