The Clerk of Superior Court is responsible for the retention and safekeeping of important land and property records, as well as the civil and criminal files of the Court. This important office is currently held by Daniel W. Massey, who has announced that he will not seek re-election.

Tammie Mosley is our choice to become the next Clerk of Superior Court. She is an outstanding young lawyer who has worked for the past 13 years as a Staff Attorney in Superior Court. We believe her legal education and experience working in Superior Court make her uniquely qualified to hold this office.

Attorney Mosley grew up in Savannah and graduated from Savannah High School. She earned a Presidential Scholarship to attend Morris Brown College of Atlanta where she was the highest honor graduate in her class. She received her Juris Doctorate from Drake University Law School in 1994, and has been an attorney for 22 years. People who work with Attorney Mosley say she is a smart, hardworking, honest visionary. These are just the traits we need in our next Clerk of Superior Court. Additionally, we have been impressed by her commitment to help take Chatham County into a new age of technology. She pledges to advance technological efficiencies and customer service, increase transparency, streamline communications between County offices, and meet the needs and concerns of the citizens of Chatham County. Attorney Mosley has the ability to achieve all of the goals she has set for the Office of the Clerk of Superior Court, but her most important qualities are her ability to communicate effectively and work well with others.

We urge you to vote for Tammie Mosley for the position of Clerk of Superior Court on May 24th in the Democratic Primary General Election. She will make us proud.
