Super Tuesday, March 1st: Special Election

Early voting for the March 1 presidential primaries and the special election for Chatham County Sheriff is in progress.

Voters who registered by the Feb. 1 deadline may vote early in person at the Voter Registration office, 1117 Eisenhower Drive, Suite E, Savannah, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Friday through Feb. 26.

One day of Saturday voting has been scheduled for this location from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Feb. 20. Additional early voting locations will be open from Feb. 22-Feb. 26. These include:

The Savannah Civic Center, 301 W. Oglethorpe St., 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday-Friday;

Chatham County Mosquito Control, 65 Bill Hair Drive, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday-Friday;

Islands Library, 50 Johnny Mercer Blvd., 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Friday;

Southwest Library, 14097 Abercorn St., 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday Friday.

In additon, absentee ballots are being distributed by mail to voters through Feb. 26. Requests for an absentee ballot must be submitted via mail or fax.
