Live Oak Public Libraries 2017 Summer Reading Program will begin June 1 and continue through July 31, 2017. The Program involves activities at all branch locations in Chatham, Effingham, and Liberty Counties.
The statewide theme for this year is “Build a Better World” and will offer programming for Early Literacy (infants – rising preschoolers), Youth (rising K – 5th graders), and Teens (rising 6th – 12th graders).
The State of Georgia Kick-Off will occur at 10:00AM, Thursday June 8, at Bull Street Library.
Local kick-off events will take place at library locations June 1-3. Whole Foods Savannah is the sponsor and is providing healthy snacks for children.
