Kimberly M. Starks, APR has earned Accreditation in Public Relations through the Universal Accreditation Board on behalf of the Georgia Chapter of Public Relations Society of America. This certifies her strengths in the areas of strategic communications, issues management and crisis communication.
Kimberly is currently media relations manager at the Georgia Lottery Corp. She has freelanced for Patch.com and the Savannah Morning News. Kimberly also has worked as a government reporter at the Chattanooga Times Free Press, government reporter at the Marietta Daily Journal, and editor and interim bureau chief of the Journal’s South Metro Neighbor publications. Kimberly has worked under seasoned journalists at The New York Times, and she studied anthropology at the University of Ghana. She is a graduate of Savannah State University
