The Pastor, officers, and members of St. Paul C.M.E. Church, 1601 Barnard Street, invite you to come experience the POWER during Pentecost at “The Paul”. Join us for Powerfest 2013!!! Come and experience God’s Powerful presence during three nights of stimulating strength, faith and courage building. Beginning June 10th through June 12 at 7:00 pm nightly, we will host a potent and passionate preacher of the Gospel, the Rev. Dr. Otis Moss, III. Rev. Dr. Moss is the nationally-renowned pastor of Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, Illinois. The week of purpose, passion and POWER will culminate with the Pastor’s Anniversary Celebration honoring the Shepherd of our house the Rev. Da’Henri Thurmond, Sr. This Celebration will take place on Sunday, June 16th , where another mighty man of God, Rev. Dr. Matthew Johnson, pastor and founder of The Church of the Good

Shepherd – Baptist in Atlanta, Georgia, will deliver God’s Word at both the 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. worship experience.

Rev. Dr. Moss is an honors graduate of Morehouse College, Yale Divinity School, and he has earned a Doctor of Ministry degree from Chicago Theological Seminary Rev. Dr. Johnson is a graduate of Morehouse University where he earned a duel degree in Philosophy and History. He went on to earn the M.A. degree in Religious Studies and a Ph.D. degree in Philosophical Theology from the Divinity School at the University of Chicago.
