St. Luke Begins Celebration of 98th Church Anniversary


St. Luke AME Church, 1007 Joe Street, will be celebrating its 98th Church Anniversary beginning with Revival Week at 6:45 p.m. each night as we renew our zeal to obey God.

The following order of service will give you the the opportunity to schedule days and times to hear preaching, singing, and join in our worshipping and praising God.

On Monday, November 8- St. Mary’s AME Church, Rev. Lester Foster, Pastor; Tuesday, November 9-Happy Home Baptist Church, Bishop K.E. McNeal, Pastor; Wednesday, November 10- Abiding in the Word Ministries, Elder Byron Curry, Pastor; Thursday, November 11- St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. James H. Terry, Pastor; Friday, November 12- Bunn Memorial Baptist Church, Rev. Charlie B. Dillard, Pastor. On Saturday, November 13, the Choir Anniversary will be held to include a song fest and guest choirs. On Sunday, November 14, during the 11 a.m. service, St. Peter’s AME Church, Newington, Ga. and Rev. Barbara Hull, Pastor will be in charge of the service and at 4 p.m. St. James AME Church of Savannah, and Rev. Rosalind Kent, Pastor, will be in charge of the service.

During Sunday morning service at 11 a.m. will be the Family and Friends, Member Reunion and Harvest Day Worship Service and the Culmination services will be at 4 p.m. We are excited and looking forward to the community sharing this occasion with us.
