St. John Baptist to hold Candelight Communion Service

Rev. Dr. George P. Lee, III and the St. John Baptist Church family extend a warm invitation to the Savannah community and surrounding counties to attend their 39th Annual Candlelight Communion Service on Sunday, December 20, 2009 at 5 p.m.

Pre-service festivities commence at 4:30 p.m. The theme for the occasion is “O Little Town of Bethlehem.”

This traditional consecrated service will feature seasonal and traditional music, inspirational anthems, and sacred hymns performed by The Mighty Fortress Candlelight Mass Choir, along with a consortium of instruments

 
 
played by some of the city’s finest musicians.

In addition, the Holy Communion will be served as a last sacrament for 2009 – “The Year of Divine Completeness from the Father.”

St. John Baptist Church “The Mighty Fortress” is located in historic downtown Savannah, Georgia at 522- 528 Hartridge Street (between East Broad and Price Streets).

Transportation for the physically challenged is provided by calling 912-232- 8507 or 877-432-8507.

Additional parking and shuttle service will be provided to and from East Broad Elementary School for your convenience.
