Southern Women’s Show Full of Ways to Help Community

When the Southern Women’s Show returns to the Savannah’s International Trade & Convention Center February 17-19 2012, it brings much more than a perfect girls day out – it provides guests with several ways to give back to their community. Guests can help their neighbors in one or all of the following ways:

Hot Hunks with Big Hearts. One of the most popular events during the Southern Women’s Show is always the popular firefighter fashion show. The heroes from the Southside Fire Department take to the catwalk to help raise money for the Southeastern FirefightersBurn Foundation. Shows are Friday at 6pm and Saturday at 5pm. Style and Success Breakfast. For the first time, Southern Women’s Show is partnering with Dress for Success for the Inaugural Style & Success Breakfast on the show’s opening day, February 17. Guests will enjoy a morning of networking, inspirational speakers and a three-part fashion show emceed by April Johnston from Project Runway. 8am to 10:30am. Tickets are $30.

Cuts for a Cause. Greener Grass Hair Color and Designs return to the Southern Women’s Show with cuts and styles for their favorite cause: The Humane Society for Greater Savannah. Guests can get cuts for as little as $20, up to $100 for a style from awardwinning designer and owner Jay Marshlick.

Show hours are Friday 10 a.m.–8 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m.–5 p.m. Admission is $9 at the door, $5 for children 6–12 years old and free for children under 6 years of age.
