So Easy to Use Your Pressure Canner THS Class of ‘64 Bows


Chatham County invites you to learn how to preserve vegetables using the Pressure Canner. The Pressure Canning Food Preservation Hands-On Workshop will provide participants with the opportunity to pressure can a jar of vegetables to take home, receive publications, and recipes. The workshop will take place Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Coastal Georgia Botanical Gardens, 2 Canebrake Rd, at 5:30pm. There is a $10 pre-registration required. The S.M. Tompkins High School Class of ‘64 shall worship together at Second Saint John Missionary Baptist Church 1323 Golden Street in West Savannah, on Sunday, August 30th @ 11:15 AM. Reverend Marque C. Johnson, Sr. is the pastor.

The fifth Sunday worship service is a S.M. Tompkins HS Class of ‘64 tradition. It is with bowed heads and grateful hearts that ‘64 Class members join with their fellow Wolverines and Second Saint John MB Church congregation in praise and thanksgiving for over 50 years of BLESSINGS. THS Class of ‘64 members who are Second St. John MB Church members include: Rose Green Brown, Annie Jean Coleman, Shirley Miller Gamble and Frederica Byrd Wiggins.
