Sigma Tau Chapter Donates School Supplies

Sigma Tau Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., located on the campus of Armstrong Atlantic State University, is adhering to one of the primary purposes of the sorority which is to be of service to all mankind. Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. will host their 65th National Conference in San Francisco, California July 21-27, 2012. During the Conference there will be a Youth Leadership Summit on Thursday, July 26, 2012. This summit will help our youth become better leaders and make smarter choices Chapters were asked to donate school supplies and they will be presented at the Youth Leadership Summit. Sigma Tau chapter donated and mailed school supplies to the Joseph Lee Recreation Center. These supplies included index cards, #2 pencils, black and blue pens, colored pencils, scissors, compasses and protractors.

Sigma Tau Chapter is under the leadership of Amber M. Brown, president and advisor Audrey B. Singleton.
