Service of Appreciation and Remembrance for Hitch Village Residents Past & Present

The Spiritual Community surrounding Hitch Village will come together to give encouragement and show appreciation to the current residents before they are relocated in January 2010 and to remember the past members.

This service will take place on Sunday, December 13, 2009 at 5:00 p.m. at the Savannah Baptist Center (704 Wheaton Street – next to Family Dollar) where Harry Coursey is Pastor. Along with Pastor Coursey, Pastor C. MeGill Brown (2nd African Baptist Church), Pastor Ricardo Manuel (2nd Ebenezer Baptist Church), Pastor Tony Reddick (New Shiloh Baptist Church), Pastor JoeNathan Brown of Inner City Church and Pastor Larry J. Stell (Central Missionary Baptist Church) will sponsor this Service of Appreciation for the past and present residents of Hitch Village.

We would like the residents to know that our prayers are with them as they SOAR in every aspect of their lives. We also want them to know that our love and support will continue.

Pastor Dennis Aikens (Word First Christian Church), a former resident of Hitch Village, will deliver the message. State, City and County Representatives will offer words of encouragement during the service.

A fellowship dinner will be served immediately after the service.
