Serena and Venus Williams Win Olympic Gold in Doubles Match


On Monday Aug. 6, Sisters Venus and Serena Williams won the doubles title at the 2012 Olympics in Wimbledon.

Serena added to the singles gold she won on Centre Court at Wimbledon the previous day.

The long-time champion sisters beat Andrea Hlavackova and Lucie Hradecka of the Czech Republic 6-4, 6-4 on a day marked by rainy weather at the All England Club.
