Pastor C. MeGill Brown, the Officers and Members of the Historic Second African Baptist Church, 123 .Houston Street, Savannah, GA (Greene Square), invites the Savannah Community to share with us during our Joint Resurrection Celebration with Pastor Thurmond N. Tillman and the First African Buptist Church family.

As we enter into this Easter Season we focus our attention on the sacrifices and provisions that were made for us on that “Old Rugged Cross” and for this reason, these two Historic congregations have come together.

The messengers for the evening will be Jessie S. Holmes, Youth Minister of Second African, Paul Little, Youth Pastor of First African, and Senior Pastor Thurmond N. Tillman of First African. The celebration will also feature music from choirs of both First African Baptist and Second African Baptist Churches.

Easter Sunday Morning, April 4th at 6:00 am, at First African Baptist Church we will have our Sunrise Celebration Service. The messenger for the morning will he Pastor C. MeGill Brown of Second African Baptist Church and breakfast will be served.

We will end this great celebration at Second African Baptist at 10:00 am with our Morning Worship Service, featuring our Sunday School and morning message by Pastor Brown.

In all of your preparations for Easter Sunday, let us not forget Christ died and now He Lives!
