“Saving God’s Children” Kwanzaa Fest ‘16


Southern Scene Black History Journal in collaboration with Benjamin Van Clark, Eastside Concern Citizens, and the Live Oak Neighborhood Association held a Press Conference to promote the Kwanzaa Fest 2016 on Wednesday, December 21st at the W. W. Law Community Center on Bolton Street

The Kwanzaa Fest will take place on Monday, December 26, 2016 from 4:00 to 6:00pm to celebrate the seven kwanzaa lifestyle principles with the discussion topic “Saving God’s Children.” The fest will also feature guest speaker Rev, Morris Brown of Metro Savannah Baptist Church and the Ash Tree Learning Center Academy. The discussion panel features a representative from an area business owner, neighborhood association president, and several area pastors dedicated to saving our youth.

The celebration will provide entertainment, door prizes, refreshments, music and a craft workshop. The celebration is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Brenda Walker at 912-222-0809.
