On Thursday, April 25, from 4 pm to 6 pm the West Broad Street YMCA will host an open house. Everyone is cordially invited. Don Kole, Shevon Carr, Howard Morrison, and Ben Tucker are Open House Committee Co-Chairs with Committee Members Bishop Ferrell, Sylvester Formey, Jenny Gentry, Cathy Hill, Paul Hinchey, Edna Jackson, Van R. Johnson II, Otis Johnson, Aaron Levy, Mary Osborne, David Paddison, Al Scott, Helen Stone, Priscilla Thomas and Rev. Thurmond Tillman.
The event, which will feature the Ben Tucker Trio and the Kole Collection of West African Art as well as refreshments from Coca Cola, John Nichols, Oglethorpe Club, and Chatham Club, is designed to show the community the entire amazing work taking place at the West Broad Street YMCA.
“We want people to see and know about all they are doing,” says Committee Co-Chair Kole. “They have programs for children and adults, all designed to help end generational poverty. This is Our Community, Our Future and Our Responsibility. We want everyone to come and be amazed as my wife Kaye and I are.”
The open house is free and open to the public. For more information, call 912 233 1951
