Savannah Music Festival Announces December 2021 Concerts Featuring Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra

 
 

Savannah Music Festival (SMF), a leading nonprofit performing arts organization, is pleased to announce two December 2021 concerts at the Johnny Mercer Theatre, located at 301 W. Oglethorpe Ave. in Savannah, Ga.

Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis

Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis brings this Grammy Award-winning holiday extravaganza to Savannah for two special performances. With soulful big band arrangements of songs both sacred and secular, Big Band Holidays is an uplifting seasonal event that’s perfect for the whole family. Johnny Mercer Theatre, 301 W. Oglethorpe Avenue, Savannah, Ga.

Four-time Grammy Award-winner Jason Isbell and his band the 400 Unit make their long-awaited return to Savannah following a 2018 appearance at Trustees’ Garden. Rolling Stone refers to the band as “wickedly skilled musicians whose live shows range from hushed intimacy to epic rock grandeur.”

Tickets go on sale for both concerts at 10 a.m. ET on Friday, November 5 at savannahmusicfestival.org and are also available by phone at 912.525.5050 or in person at 216 East Broughton St. (Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.).
