Savannah Jazz Festival Events Open With Blowin’ Smoke BBQ


 
 

The 2012 Savannah Jazz Festival is around the corner, and Blowin’ Smoke BBQ is proud to be the select host venue for opening events, beginning Sunday, September 23rd. Blowin’ Smoke BBQ, part of Savannah’s Gaslight Group restaurants, will feature an array of events throughout the week including multiple live music performances, jam sessions, and a film featuring a special appearance by producer & director James “Huey” Coleman, Jr.

The 2012 Savannah Jazz Festival is set for September 23rd through September 30th.

Produced by the Coastal Jazz Association (CJA), the first Savannah Jazz Festival was held at Grayson Stadium in October 1983. Through twenty-six festivals, the CJA has exposed thousands of individuals of all ages and backgrounds to America’s only indigenous musical art form, jazz. The 2012 Savannah Jazz Festival is set for September 23rd through September 30th.
