You are invited to attend the Savannah, Georgia Community Leaders Institute. Progress requires informed and active leaders. The purpose of this institute is to reinforce this principal and to emphasize the unique relationship between environmental protection, human health, environmental justice and economic development as an essential part of community development. This program will be held Friday, September 6th, 2013 at 5pm and Saturday, September 7th at 8:30 at a.m. at the Savannah State University in the King-Frazier Student Center, Savannah Room. Topics will include the Role of Government, Health Disparities/ Health Issues, Youth Issues and Challenges, and Economic Development, Transportation Housing and Community Development.
