Savannah-Chatham Silver Cheetahs Track and Field Team

This past Saturday, February 9, 2019, the Silver Cheetahs competed in the 2nd Annual V12 Florida Season Opener Indoor Track and Field Challenge in Gainesville, Florida. This track and field event is the first start for the Cheetahs’ Outdoor Track and Field Season. Six athletes from the Savannah-Chatham Silver Cheetahs competed in Gainesville, Florida, against multiple track and field teams across Georgia and Florida.

As a result, the Savannah Chatham Silver Cheetahs brought home 1 gold medal, 2 silver medals, and 1 bronze medal from Gainesville, Florida.

The following athletes competed in the 2nd Annual V12 Florida Season Opener Indoor Track and Field Challenge in Gainesville, Florida: 1. Keyara Lovett – Gold in Long Jump (15ft 10in), 5th in 100 Meter Dash (13.67s) and 200 Meter Dash (28.26s) 2. Mariah Ogden – Silver in Shot Put (25ft 6in), 7th in 200 Meter Dash (31.40s) 3. Joshua Bradley – Silver in Long Jump (9ft 11in), 17th in 100 Meter Dash (17.26s) 4. Ivey Hall – Bronze in 400 Meter Dash (1:08.51s), 8th in 100 Meter Dash (14.72s), 11th in 200 Meter Dash (30.85s) 5. Honey Bradley – 5th in Shot Put (15ft 11in), 10th in Long Jump (7ft 9in) 6. Brian Hall, Jr. – 5th in Long Jump (3ft 8in), 11th in 100 Meter Dash (24.60s)
