Savannah-Chatham County Council on Disability Issues Scheduled To Meet

The December meeting of the Savannah Chatham County Council on Disability Issues (SCCDI) is schedule for Monday, December 9th at 2:00pm at the Transit Center on Oglethorpe Avenue. The guest speaker will be Adam Walker, Executive Director of St. Joseph’s/Candler Health System’s Johnny’s Bridges to Hope, a free, confidential resource for families with a mentally-ill family member.

SCCDI’s purpose is to facilitate and coordinate community efforts to improve the quality of life for citizens with disabilities in the City of Savannah and Chatham County through advising and advocating with local leaders. This meeting is free and open to the public and SCCDI is especially interested in encouraging Chatham County residents with a disability to attend and lend their voice and perspective.
