Savannah Branch NAACP Holds Savannah Municipal Candidate Forums

On Tuesday, October 8th, at 6PM, the Savannah Branch NAACP Political Action Committee will hold its first Savannah municipal candidate forum at the Ralph Mark Gilbert Civil Rights Museum located at 460 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. All individual district candidates have been invited and the forum will be moderated by former Mayor Otis Johnson.

The second forum with all mayoral and at-large candidates invited will take place on Thursday, October 10th at Greater Gaines Chapel AME Church located at 1006 May Street. The 6PM forum will be moderated by JoAnn Merrigan, news reporter at WSAV TV.

Tickets are now available to the 38th Annual Freedom Fund Awards Banquet on Saturday, October 19 at the Savannah Marriott Riverfront at 7PM.
