The Douglas Anderson High School of Jacksonville, Florida Class of 1965 will hold its 45th Class Reunion in the “Hostess City of the South” Savannah, Georgia. August 20, 21, and 22 2010 will be a time to remember.
Beginning on the 20th at 6 p.m. a meet and greet reception will be held at the beautiful Embassy Suites in Pooler, Ga. On Saturday, the 21st, two power packed activities are planned. First, we will take a tour with Mr. Jamal Toure. He will take us on a Day Clean Journey, this will surely be a time of remembering our ancestral roots. We will close out our Saturday with a sunset seafood feast at Love’s Restaurant on the river. Sunday morning, breakfast will be hosted by Royal Church of Christ at the Moses Jackson Community Center, followed by our morning worship experience at the Royal Church of Christ, 1902 Rogers St., the host pastor Bishop-Elect Willie Ferrell and Elect Lady Margaret Farrell. Both are alumni of Douglas Anderson High School, “The Fiery Dragon”…Douglas Anderson we love you, you are the pride of our hearts.
