Rep. Bob Bryant Invites Pastor Anthony Edwards to Capitol

On March 30, 2011, Pastor Anthony Edwards of Benlah Baptist Church was invited to our State Capitol to be the chaplin of the day by Representative Bryant.

Pastor Edwards says that this was an experience he will never forget and gives Glory to the Lord for this opportunity.

Rep. Bryant showed Pastor Edwards and his wife Terrain outstanding hospitality while they were there. Pastor Edwards spoke on service to and service for the people as he briefly reminded our State leaders about the importance of serving the people of our state. He shared three important points: 1) Have a proper perspective of their position ( It’s a privilege given by the people 2) Have a proper perspective of their purpose (It must be with passion for the people) 3) Have a proper perspective of their responsibility ( Their responsibility is given by God).

Rep. Bryant says that the words shared by Pastor Edwards were received graciously by those of the Georgia House of Representatives.
