Taniqua Jonai Price, and Ronald David Slaughter exchanged marriage vows on June 20 at the United House of Prayer for All People, 1805 Ogeechee Road.
Apostle R.I. White, Pastor officiated the service. Taniqua, the daughter of Shirley Jenkins Price and Calvin Price, chose Verlynda Slaughter Thompson and Demaris Hall- Manor as Matrons of Honor. Janelle Meadows served as Maid of Honor. Bridesmaids included Kenisha Brown, Beverly Dumas, Czekehia Brown, and Nikiya Clanton. Flower Girls were Don’Moni Thomas, Zanya Jenkins and Zalaya Jenkins.
Ronald, the son of Ms. Verlynda Slaughter, and Mr. and Mrs. Ronald and Quinn Slaughter, Sr. chose Bernard Pinkney and Terrance Greene as Best Men. Groomsmen included Calvin Price, Jr., Taurin Watkins, Ryan Price, and Lydell Price.
Ryan Price, II and Kran Futch served as ring bearers. Calvin Price, II nephew of the Bride, announced the bride’s arrival. Hostesses included Ronecia Johnson, and LaShaye Brown.
Taniqua is the granddaughter of Elder and Mrs. Alex Jenkins, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Price.
Ronald is the grandson of Mrs. Joan Washington, and the late Mr. Willie Washington, and Mrs. Tommie Jean Reisner, and the late Mr. Ronald Slaughter.
The couple will reside in Savannah.
