The Savannah Development and Renewal Authority (SDRA) is pleased to announce the promotion of Ms. Regina Peacock to the position of Outreach Coordinator.
A native of Chicago, Illinois, Regina Peacock joined the staff of Savannah Development and Renewal Authority (SDRA) on an interim basis in 2008 coming on full-time as a Program Assistant in 2009.
Ms. Peacock received her Bachelor of Science degree from Western Illinois University and a Master of Business Administration from Walden University. She is currently enrolled in Seminary School at Liberty University.
In January 2010, Ms. Peacock was promoted to the position of Outreach Coordinator with SDRA. In this capacity, Ms. Peacock, will coordinate outreach efforts to foster an understanding of the mission of SDRA, and the authority’s program activities and business and property development resources.
SDRA is a public authority tasked to lead a coordinated strategy of economic development and civic design to strengthen Greater Downtown Savannah, with emphasis on the MLK and Montgomery Street Corridor and the Broughton Street Urban Redevelopment Area.
SDRA Executive Director, Lise Sundrla, praised Ms. Peacock’s abilities, noting that she “brings a passion, dedication and commitment to her role at SDRA. She is a great asset to the team.”
