Patterson Selected for Purdue University Summer Veterinary Medicine Program

Jermaya Patterson, rising junior at Hampton University has been selected to attend Purdue University’s Summer Veterinary Medicine Enrichment Program for 2nd & 3rd year college students pursuing Veterinary Medicine. Jermaya was one of less than 10 students selected to participate in this program. During the program, she will be engaged in academic sessions both in the classroom and teaching hospital and travel to Michigan State University to participate in additional training for Veterinarian students, faculty and professionals. Jermaya is a Savannah native and 2015 graduate from Savannah Country Day School. At Hampton University, she is secretary of the Golden Key International Honor Society and hold memberships in Sister to Sister, SGA Women Caucus while serving as a William Harvey Leadership fellow. She is an ambitious scholar on the Dean’s list who plans to become a Veterinarian. Jermaya is the beautiful daughter of Mr. Paul & Dr. Keenya G. Mosley.
