Omar Temple No. 21 Makes Annual Charity Donation

On Saturday, October 17, 2009 Omar Temple No. 21 Shriners Past Potentate Council made their annual charity donation. The 2009 recipient was the Shriners Hospital for Children. The $2,000 donation was made to the Potentate and officers of Alee Shriners to benefit the Shriners Hospitals for Children. Omar Temple No. 21 Shriners located in Savannah is a member of the Ancient Egyptian Arabic Order Nobles Mystic Shrine of North and South America and Its Jurisdictions, Inc. The AEAONMS has 227 Shrine Temples and 200 Courts, as well as its women’s auxiliary, the Daughters of Isis. Alee Shrine Temple located in Savannah is a member of Shriners International. Shriners International is a fraternity based on fun, fellowship and the Masonic principles of brotherly love, relief and truth. There are 191 temples (chapters) in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and the Republic of Panama . Shriners Hospital for Children is a one-of-a-kind international health care system of 22 hospitals dedicated to improving the lives of children by providing specialty pediatric care, innovative research and outstanding teaching programs.
