On Thursday, December 19, Nourish presented a $5,000 check to the American Red Cross of Southeast and Coastal Georgia for Disaster Relief at their Abercorn location, in Lucky’s Market. This check presentation highlighted the philanthropic efforts of Nourish during this Holiday season.
When Hurricane Dorian hit the Bahamas, The founders of Nourish wanted to be a part of the disaster relief efforts. Shoshanna and Corey Walker partnered with the American Red Cross disaster relief to honor the first wholesale boutique to carry Nourish products, which was located in Abacos,
Bahamas. In regards to their generosity, the American Red Cross has chosen to highlight Nourish’s generous donation towards the $7 billion of damages during the Holiday season.
“It is a pleasure for us at Nourish to provide funding beneficial to the American Red Cross’ commitment to serving communities when a disaster strikes,” said Nourish owner Shoshanna Walker. “I am humbled by the generosity of our community and our entire Nourish team, who played a key role in this wonderful effort.”
Nourish’s current effort to support the community is their Holiday Campaign,
12 Days of Self Care Christmas. The Nourish team is supporting its consumers by raising awareness of health centered local businesses and encouraging Holiday shoppers to consider giving the gift of health this Holiday season. In honor of this presentation and their Holiday Campaign, we invite you to join Nourish on Thursday for the check presentation and to learn more about how you can support local businesses.
