Mrs. Jacquelyn B. F. Cooper was recently elected Most Ancient Grand Matron of the Wilhelmina H. Parrish Grand Court Heroines of Jericho, Prince Hall. She is the married to Mr. Ernest Cooper Jr., a mother of three wonderful sons, the grandmother of two blessed grandchildren, Jayv’yn J. Cooper and Kaylyn N. Cooper, also a daughter by marriage Mrs. Syreeta Cooper to Mr. Ernest Cooper III. She joined the Skidaway Baptist Church over 54 years ago. Rev Alan D. O’Neal who is God’s Shepherd is pastor. She sang in the Junior Choir, Gospel Choirs, Pastor Aide Broad President, Women’s Auxiliary, and wherever she was needed for the service of the Lord. Sister Cooper continues her services at a sister church where her father and mother, Pastor and Sister Joseph W. Jackson at the Isle of Hope Union Missionary Baptist Church.

She was born in Savannah, Georgia where she attended Savannah State University (College). Mrs. Cooper also took a course from Memorial Medical Center in First Aid and Medical Terminology. She worked in the medical field for over 41 years for several surgeons. She has been graciously rewarded the gift of “Retirement” also presented with a Plaque for Outstanding Years of Service and Best wishes for a Happy Retirement among other blessed gifts.

Mrs. Jacquelyn B. F. Cooper joined the Prince Hall Masonic Family in 1973. She was initiated into Electa Chapter #1 Order of Eastern Star, after several years of advancing to Worthy Matron, Past Matron of Electa Chapter #1 Order of Eastern Star; she received Eastern Star of the Year Award and other numerous awards and recognitions for her outstanding work in the Prince Hall Family. She also served as Director of Electa Youth Chapter for several years. She served as Chapter Secretary of Electa #1 for 14 years, receiving a plaque. Mrs. Cooper also sings in the Past Master Willie V. Coleman Choir. She is a Past Illustrious Commandress of Omar Court #91, Daughters of Isis and Deputy of the Oasis of Georgia during the 100 year Centinnential, under the Illustrious Commandress Frankie Totten, P.C. Cooper was given. Faithful Service Award from Omar Court #91 for Tireless Devotion and Dedication Campaign for the March of Dimes wish was given, in which this gracious campaign is going on at this present time. Mrs. Cooper is the Past Loyal Lady Ruler of the Mary H. Jones Assembly #27 order of Golden Circle, under this Assemble of J.B. Cooper Youth Dove Assembly #4 for 9 years. She was a member of the Shining C’s Club. She is a member of the Lillian E. Blake Most Ancient Grand Court Ladies of Perfect, Royal Grand Perfect Matron, Vanda T. Patton of Savannah, Local Court Name, George F. Patton Court #3 and also a member of the John A. Robinson, Sr. Most Royal Grand Court of the Cyrene Crusaders, Royal Grand Perfect Matron Denise Mundy, Local Court Marilyn Tremble Court #4. Some of her contributions are: St. Jude Hospital, World Vision, Feed the Children, March of Domes, and there are others. Sister Cooper has eighteen Subordinate Courts over the state of Georgia to visit during the year and other appointments with God’s Blessing.

Her goals and endeavors are to help all people to know about God, learn of Him and his precious son “JESUS CHRIST” by being His ambassador, Glorifying, and Magnifying through songs and testimonies, of how good God is to all who has FAITH and trust and believe in Him. She participates in being blessed to giving than receiving. To “GOD” is the glory for all the Good Things He has done in HER Life and that “He” will do forever more through “JESUS CHRIST”.
