NCNW -Savannah Section Seeks Former Members

The National Council of Negro Women is diligently seeking all persons who were members of the Savannah Section to be part of a special unity celebration. On February 28, 2009 at 9:00 am, NCNW Savannah Section will host a special Harambee Breakfast at the Ralph Mark Gilbert Civil Rights Museum Multipurpose Annex celebrating fifteen years of the Section’s existence in Savannah.

In commemoration of fifteen years, NCNW Savannah Section will honor Chartered Members, Life and Legacy Life Members and the Section’s organizer. A pictorial souvenir book with photographs of members and former members will be published. The keynote speaker for the occasion is Lois Keith, National Membership Chair from Atlanta, Georgia.

The Savannah Section invites the community to come and join the celebration. Tickets are $20 and may be purchased at Lester’s Florist, The Savannah Herald or Signature Furniture at 9307 Abercorn Street.
