The First African Baptist Church congregation has been in corporate prayer for more than a year. They come together at 6:33 a.m. every morning to fellowship with each other, and pray with and for everyone. Petitions for prayers are submitted, prayer begins with a scripture reading, the vision/mission statement of the church, then a prayer by the prayer leader, and finally everyone prays together. In observance of National Day of Prayer on May 6th, First African is extending an invitation to the community to join us. It may be the first time, but it doesn’t have to be the last. All are welcome to pray with us. Just dial 1-218-486-1616, wait for the prompt for the access code, then enter 345184#. You will then be prompted to give your name, and press pound (name is optional, but you must press the pound sign to gain access to the prayer line).

May 3-6th First African Baptist Church, 23 Montgomery St will host their Spring Empowerment Revival. Rev. Nim B. Russell, pastor of Thankful Baptist Church, Rome, GA is the guest revivalist.
