National Night Out is an annual community building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer and better places to live.
On Tuesday, August 2, 2016, neighborhoods from across the city of Savannah will have a chance to come together with the men & women who serve and protect them. The safety of our communities depend on both law enforcement and the citizens they serve, and this year’s events will enhance that cooperation.
Along with the traditional display of outdoor lights and front porch vigils, cities, neighborhoods will “celebrate” NNO with a variety of events and activities such as block parties, cookouts, visits from local police, sheriff departments and community leaders, parades, exhibits, flashlight walks, contests, and youth programs.
