Montford Crowned Miss Black Savannah US Ambassador

A preliminary division of the National Miss Black US Ambassador and Teen Miss Black US Ambassador Scholarship pageant, the Miss Black Georgia US Ambassador pageant will be held January 2018 in Savannah, GA. The Miss Black Georgia US Ambassador Scholarship program is proud to announce the crowning of one of our newest local ambassadors. Ashleigh Montford was recently named Miss Black Savannah US Ambassador.

Young women from across the Peach State will gather in the City by the Sea to compete for the coveted title of Miss Black Georgia and Teen Miss Black Georgia US Ambassador and an opportunity to compete at the National competition in Atlanta, GA where more than $5,000 in scholarships and prizes will be awarded. Each contestant will compete in a preliminary community service presentation and private interview, fitness, evening gown and on-stage interview competition. During their reign, the young women are required to host events geared toward community engagement, women’s empowerment, health and wellness.
