MegaGenesis ’16

The Savannah Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., in cooperation with the Savannah Chatham County School System, will host MegaGenesis ’16 on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Sol C. Johnson High School from 8:30am- 2:30pm.

First held in Savannah in 2007 and coordinated thru Beta Phi Lambda chapter in conjunction with the school system, Mega- Genesis is the brainchild of Alpha Brother Leroy Zimmerman, a retired educator who originated this concept in Newport News, Virginia in 1994. Since 2007, dozens of high school students in Savannah have received information on select colleges, application procedures, and in a number of cases scholarships on the spot.

Interested students and their parents can get more information about the upcoming event at their middle or high schools or at their church.
